API Access

For Developers, Students, Researchers and Third-Parties

Need an API key for research use? Running an open-source software that uses agency GTFS-RT information? Or, do you merely want to play around with transit agency live data for your own personal use?

Swiftly provides official real-time passenger information through the GTFS-realtime standard for our customers. All interested parties are welcome to the GTFS-rt data for Swiftly customers of real-time passenger information, with the caveat that all of Swiftly's customers have the right to restrict access as they see fit. While it is uncommon that we reject your request to access, please be aware that we cannot guarantee approval for every request.

Please request an API Key using the following request form here. 

Please include the email address of the other party's project owner at the agency with which you're working on this project to expedite this process.
